![]() There is quite literally a breakfast in one bite. Cravings, however, stuffs its burritos with beef, chorizo, cheese and goodness-knows-what kind of sauce. Before my first time in Vegas, I had only encountered burritos in poor-quality chain restaurants where they were mostly long grain rice and stringy beef. Yet what is it that I crave, at Cravings? Cravings Buffetīelieve it or not, it’s breakfast burritos and the nachos that keep me awake at night. The variety of meats available also bears mentioning – some days they have ribs, at least three different types of sausage, a good selection of beef both on its own and in dishes. Cravings BuffetĬravings continues to excel with the astonishing variety of different food stations: sushi a huge baked goods section a variety of pizzas made-to-order omelets pastas desserts fruit platters. While this reviewer, bullpen of writers and website cautions against the perils of severe drunkenness, there is something so wonderfully VEGAS about sipping a rather delightful white wine at breakfast time with your orange juice and coffee. Where Cravings begins to set itself apart is the fact that beer and wine are included in the price. So what makes Cravings great? The price sits firmly in the middle of the Strip buffets at about $20 per adult, so nothing jaw-dropping there. No, I’m not rich, just a victim of circumstance. In my other life, far away from the beautiful bright lights of Vegas, I have stayed in more five-star hotels and eaten more buffets than most sane people do in five years. The second was that Cravings Buffet at the Mirage is quite possibly the best buffet we have ever enjoyed at any place that we have stayed ever. Like, angry monkeys on caffeine and steroids are running things-terrible. The first is that the service at Luxor is terrible. And yet, two things really stuck in our memory about our stay. In the course of about seven days, we stayed in five different hotels, and it was exhausting on the mind, body, and wallet. The result of this was a great deal of hotel hopping and not really taking the opportunity to enjoy the places we were staying in.
